Abstract

La présente invention porte, selon un mode de réalisation, sur un procédé de production de boulettes de minerai de fer : qui est utilisé pour une opération de haut-fourneau pour produire des boulettes de minerai de fer présentant un rapport massique CaO/SiO2 égal ou supérieur à 0,8 et un rapport massique MgO/SiO2 égal ou supérieur à 0,4 ; et qui comprend une étape de pelletisation consistant à obtenir des boulettes vertes en ajoutant de l'eau de pelletisation à des matières premières de minerai de fer et de la dolomite et une étape de cuisson consistant à cuire les pastilles vertes, la dolomite présentant des propriétés de telle sorte que la dolomite soit présente sous une forme très fine à l'intérieur de la structure des pastilles vertes.
