Abstract
Description
SMOOTHING FALSE WITH TENDUOUS CANVAS
The present invention relates to a smooth for false wall and in particular false ceilings, with stretched canvas, and especially for false ceilings in which the canvas =
is connected to the smooth via laces.
False ceilings typically include one or several hanging rails which are fixed on each walls of a room, a short distance from them, and of an elastic fabric, for example polyvinyl chloride vinyl (PVC), which is deformed by tension so that its edges, provided with means of attachment, can come to attach to the rails using these attachment means.
One of the main difficulties encountered in the technique of setting up these false ceilings is that this canvas, to offer a beautiful appearance, must be strongly stretched on the rails. However, the false ceilings are usually arranged in surface pieces relatively important, which requires each side of the canvas tension forces important.
It is known for this purpose to connect the canvas to smooth with laces that are passed through orifices made in the fabric and which are connected to the smooth using hooks arranged in holes of the smooth.
Such a false ceiling, as illustrated in FIG.
comprises a smooth 1, connected to a fabric 2 in polyvinyl chloride, stretched with laces elastic 3.
The two wings 10,11 are perpendicular to the base wing 9. The lower wing is provided with holes 7. The beam 1 is fixed to a 5 wall 12 of the piece with screws not shown screwed into threaded holes 8 arranged on the wing of base 9 of the smooth 1.
The elastic laces 3 are connected on the one hand to the smooth 1, using hooks 4 S-shaped, and other 10 apart from the fabric 2, thanks to orifices 5 made on a peripheral edge 6 of the fabric 2. The hooks 4 thus support the lace 3 at one of their ends and are arranged at their other end in the holes 7 of the smooth 1.
We see the disadvantages associated with the use of such 1. The presence of the hooks 4 near the 8 holes makes difficult the attachment of the smooth 1 on wall 12. Fixing the hooks 4 in the orifices 7 is furthermore long is difficult. By elsewhere, many holes 7 must be drilled in the Smooth 1, which also requires a lot of time. Of more, if you want to use a specific spacing holes 7, depending on the surface to be equipped, it must have a set of smooth 1 with different spacings, either drill holes 7 at the request, which is quite compelling.
It is also known a device for setting up a false ceiling, described in the patent application FR 2 861 769, consisting of a canvas stretched by its periphery on smooth rails joined to the walls of a
- 3 -part, with force-return pulleys solidarisables smooth and traversed by a link which one end has fixing means on the canvas and the other end ensures the maintenance of a downstream force return member, a second link forming a loop passing through said force return elements and having means for winding it, in order to reduce the length and thus bring smooth the points of attachment on the canvas. This This device does not allow immobilization of the pulleys.
hooks along the rails at selected positions. The The present invention provides a rail for remedy these disadvantages.
The subject of the invention is thus a rail for a false wall and in particular false ceilings, with stretched canvas, of the type having one or more attachment areas to one wall, and being intended to be connected to the canvas by through one or more laces. The smooth according the invention comprises a slideway accommodating lace receiving elements, each element of receiving lace being through a support, a on the other hand, slidable and, on the other hand, fit for immobilized with respect to said slide. The current invention solves the problems of positioning and immobilization of elements of receiving lace along the slide of the smooth and therefore to have points of tension of the canvas to chosen interval and adapt their position at will in particular to the shape of the room and the wall.
The fixing of the smooth can be done on any type of wall, such as a wall or ceiling.
In order to lock the element of receiving lace, the support is advantageously crossed by a threaded hole in which is screwed the lace receiving element.
It can be envisaged that only certain elements of receiving lace are related to such support. Of preferably, all the lace receiving elements are related to such support.
In order to facilitate the attachment of the beam to the wall, the arm advantageously comprises a first wing intended to be fixed to a wall, and a second wing including the slide.
According to a variant, the first wing comprises also a slide. It is this way possible to adapt the reception of the lace to the configuration of the room. We can thus envisage that by passing from one first smooth to a second smooth, lace either first received on the first wing of the first smooth, then on the second wing of the second smooth.
According to another embodiment, the first and the second wing are united in one wing. This wing therefore includes the slide while ensuring the fixing the rail to the wall.
Preferably, both wings come from material.
The lace receiving element can be any element having an orifice, thereby allowing the
We can in particular use any curved piece of the type hook, or an illiter. The use of a hook allows to easily receive the lace.
The invention also relates to a false wall and in particular a false ceiling of the type comprising a fabric tense connected to a smooth described above by through one or more laces.
The laces can be chosen from all types of laces, and preferably among the elastic laces. We can notably use the elastic laces type Sandow.
To receive the laces, the canvas is advantageously provided with orifices intended to receive the laces.
Other goals, features and benefits of the invention will emerge from reading the description following, given only as an example, and made with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
- Figure 1, already described, illustrates part of a false ceiling comprising a canvas stretched using a lace attached to a rail according to the state of the art, FIG. 2 illustrates a rail according to the invention, FIG. 3 illustrates a rail according to a variant of the invention, - Figure 4 illustrates part of a false ceiling comprising a canvas stretched with a lace attached to

- 6 -a rail according to a first embodiment of the invention, and - Figure 5 illustrates part of a false ceiling comprising a canvas stretched with a lace attached to a rail according to a second embodiment of the invention.
The beam 27 according to the invention, as illustrated in FIG.
FIG. 2 comprises a first wing 13 intended to be attached to a wall using attachment areas that are threaded holes 15. The stringer 27 also includes a second wing 14, perpendicular to the first wing 13. The second wing 14 includes a slide 16 able to accommodate in sliding a support 18 crossed by a threaded hole 19. The first wing 13 and the second wing 14 come from matter. Eyes 17 are mounted sliding by partial screwing in the support 18 to using a threaded zone 21 adapted to be screwed into the threaded hole 19 of the support 18. The eyelets 17 are provided with an orifice 200 for receiving laces.
The slide 16 is U-shaped with a wing lower 20, of two parallel lateral wings 21,22, perpendicular to the lower wing 20. The slide 16 is further provided with two flanges 23,24 disposed at top of the lateral wings 21,22, and which are parallel at the lower wing 20. The shape of the slide 16 delimits an obvious 25 able to guide in sliding the support 18 and therefore the eyelet 17 partially screwed into the support 18.
= - 7 -The support 18 may be of square section or rectangular, its width and height being chosen from so that the support 18 can slide in obviously 25.
The locking of each eyelet 17 is carried out simple way by complete screwing of the eyelet 17 in the 18. The locking is then performed when the threaded zone 21 of the eyelet 17 comes into contact with the lower wing 20 of the slide 16. It is thus possible to position quickly and easily each nib 17 at the desired location on the sill 27 by sliding of the eyelet 17 in the slide 16, then by locking, by completely tightening the eyelet 17 into the support 18.
According to the variant illustrated in Figure 3, where the elements identical to those in Figure 2 bear the same references, the first wing 13 of the beam 27 also includes a slide 30. The slide 30 is identical to the slide 16 of the second wing 14 and is disposed above the threaded holes 15. The slide is U-shaped with a lower wing 31, two parallel lateral wings 32,33, perpendicular to the lower wing 31. The slide 30 is further provided of two edges 34,35 arranged at the top of the wings 25 lateral 32,33, and which are parallel to the wing The shape of the slide 30 thus delimits a recess 36 able to guide a sliding element receiving lace identical to that described in Figure 2.
According to this variant of the invention, the beam 27 is 30 as well provided with two slides 16,30. This provision allows to obtain original configurations or more adequate, allowing the reception of lace on one either of the two slides 16,30.
The false ceiling shown in Figure 4, on which elements identical to those in Figure 2 bear the same references, includes a stretched canvas 2 polyvinyl chloride provided with orifices 5 made on a peripheral edge 6 of the fabric 2. The fabric 2 is connected to the beam 27 previously described by intermediate elastic laces 3. The smooth 27 is fixed to a wall 12 by means of screws 26. The laces 3 elastics ensure the tension of the canvas passing alternatively in an orifice 5 of the fabric 2 and then in the orifice 200 of an eyelet 17 locked in the slide 16 of the beam 27.
In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 5, the first wing and the second wing are united in one only wing 28. As represented, the wing 28 is confuses with the lower wing 20 of the slide 16 shown in Figure 2. Wing 28 may also be identical to wing 14, also illustrated in Figure 2. The smooth 27 is attached to the wall 12 through to the screws 26 arranged in fixing zones of the wing 28 which are threaded holes, not shown.
The beam 27 according to the invention thus makes it possible to arrange the eyelets 17 optimally, according to the spacing of the orifices 5 of the fabric 2. It allows also to avoid the many holes in the smooth 1 of the state of the art.
