Description

The present invention relates to a false wall, and in particular a false ceiling, of the canvas type stretched using at least one rail.

FR 2630476 shows a false wall according to the preamble of claim 1.

One of the main difficulties encountered in the technique of placing these false ceilings is that the fabric, to offer a good appearance, must be stretched tightly on the rails. However, the false ceilings are generally arranged in parts of relatively large surfaces, which requires to exert on each side of the fabric of significant tension forces.

The false ceilings conventionally comprise one or more stringers which are fixed on each wall of a room, and an elastic fabric, for example polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is deformed by tension so that its edges , provided with hooking means, can be fixed to the rails with the aid of these attachment means.

It is also possible to use rigid or semi-rigid webs that can not be stretched. In order to fix this type of fabric, it is known to connect the fabric to the heddles by means of laces which are passed through orifices made in the fabric and which are connected to the healds by means of hooks arranged in holes provided along the rails.

Such a false ceiling, as illustrated in figure 1 , comprises a smooth 1, connected to a web 2 not extensible, stretched with elastic laces 3.

The two wings 10, 11 are perpendicular to the base wing 9. The lower wing 10 is provided with holes 7. The rail 1 is fixed to a wall 12 of the workpiece by means of screws (not shown) screwed into holes 8 arranged on the base wing 9 of the rail 1.

The elastic laces 3 are connected on the one hand to the lug 1, using S-shaped hooks 4, and on the other hand to the fabric 2, thanks to orifices 5 made on a peripheral edge 6 of the 2. The hooks 4 and support the lace 3 at one of their ends and are arranged at their other end in the holes 7 of the smooth 1.

We see the disadvantages associated with the use of such a bar 1. The presence of the hooks 4 near the orifices 8 makes it difficult to fix the bar 1 on the wall 12. The fixing of the hooks 4 in the orifices 7 is besides long and difficult. Moreover, it is necessary to drill many orifices 7 in the rail 1, which also requires a lot of time. In addition, if it is desired to use a determined spacing of the orifices 7, depending on the surface to be equipped, it is necessary either to have a set of healds 1 with different spacings, or to drill orifices 7 at the request. which is quite restrictive.

The present invention provides a false wall, including a false ceiling, to overcome these disadvantages.

In particular, the invention makes it possible to easily and rapidly tension a rigid or semirigid non-extensible fabric.

The invention thus relates to a false wall of the type comprising a stretched fabric connected to at least one rail. The fabric comprises a non-stretchable central portion and at least one elastic peripheral portion provided with a positioning means on the stringer.

The positioning means may be any means, including any means of attachment or attachment to the rail. The positioning means is advantageously a harpoon.

The elastic peripheral portion is advantageously in the form of one or more strips integral with the non-extensible central portion.

The strips are advantageously welded to the non-extensible central part, but can also be glued or sewn to the non-extensible central part.

The elastic peripheral portion may be chosen from all the elastic materials, and may in particular be made of rubber.

The arm is preferably of the type comprising a web support wing and a web attachment wing, for example intended to receive the positioning means of the elastic peripheral portion, the web fastening wing being provided with a shoulder extending in the direction of the web support wing, the web support wing and the fixing wing being parallel and interconnected by a core being perpendicular thereto.

Une telle lisse est par exemple décrite dans le brevet FR 2 630 476 .Such a smooth is for example described in the patent FR 2 630 476 .

The false wall may further comprise a cover for masking the elastic peripheral portion.

Other objects, features and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the following description, given solely by way of example, and with reference to the appended drawings, in which:
  • the figure 1 , already described, illustrates a portion of a false ceiling comprising a canvas stretched with a lace attached to a rail, and
  • the figure 2 illustrates a portion of a false ceiling according to the invention.

The canvas 13 according to the invention, as illustrated in FIG. figure 2 Comprises a central portion 13 a non-extensible, and a peripheral portion 13 b elastic. The peripheral portion 13 b is in the form of a strip welded to the central portion 13 a . If the web 13 is of square or rectangular shape, the peripheral portion 13 b elastic is advantageously in the form of a single band welded to the central portion 13a, and forming a peripheral belt around the canvas 13. It is also contemplated that the peripheral portion 13 b is in the form of four adjacent strips welded to the central portion 13 a and which form the peripheral belt.

The peripheral portion 13b is preferably welded to the central portion 13a, but one can also consider any other method of attachment known to those skilled in the art, such as gluing or sewing.

The peripheral portion 13 b is provided with a harpoon 14 which is disposed at the periphery of the portion 13 b. The harpoon 14 has a hook shape extending toward the opposite direction to the web 13. It comprises an inner branch 14a by which it is connected to the web 13 and an outer leg 14 b bent downwards.

The fabric 13 is stretched with the aid of a rail 16. The rail 16 comprises a web support wing 17, a web receiving wing 18 which is fixed in an upper part of a wall 15 by means fasteners, such as screws, not shown. The web support wing 17 and the web receiving wing 18 are interconnected by a horizontal web 19 which is perpendicular to them.

L'épaulement 20 accueille la branche externe 14b du harpon 14.The web receiving wing 18 is provided with a shoulder 20, which, together with the web support wing 17, allows the positioning of the fabric 13. The shoulder 20 extends horizontally from the base of the web receiving wing 18 towards the web support wing 17. The shoulder 20 receives the outer arm 14 b of the harpoon 14.

The other end of the fabric 13, not shown, is also provided with a resilient peripheral portion provided with a harpoon which is also attached to a smooth as described above, and located opposite the smooth 16. The laying of the fabric 13 is done in successively hanging the two harpoons in each smooth.

The fabric 13 according to the invention thus makes it possible to reach quickly the web 13 of the rail 16, thanks to the presence of the elastic peripheral portion 13 b provided with the harpoon 14 which is adapted to be positioned on the rail 16. The Elastic peripheral portion 13 b thus makes it possible to confer a deformation capacity on the non-extensible central portion 13 a , which facilitates the positioning of the harpoon 14 on the rail 16.
