Abstract
L'invention a trait à un alliage pour fabriquer des objets possédant une résistance élevée à la chaleur et une grande ductilité. En outre, l'invention concerne un article en acier forgé à chaud possédant une dureté élevée, une résistance élevée à la chaleur et une grande stabilité à la chaleur. Pour améliorer les propriétés à des températures de traitement élevées, selon cette invention, un matériau préliminaire composé de préférence, en pourcentage de sa masse, de ~ 0,15 à 0,44 % de carbone (C), de ~ 0,04 à 0,3 % de silicium (Si), de ~ 0,05 à 0,4 % de manganèse, de ~ 1,2 à 5,0 % de chrome (Cr), de ~ 0,8 à 6,5 % de molybdène (Mo), de ~ 3,4 à 9,8 % de nickel (Ni), de ~ 0,2 à 0,8 % de vanadium (V), de ~ 0,1 à 9,8 % de cobalt (Co), de ~ 1,4 à 3,0 % d'aluminium (Al), et de fer (Fe) pour le reste, est façonné par forgeage à chaud et traitement de manière à ce que soient présents, dans la structure de l'article obtenu, des carbures précipités et des précipitats intermétalliques après traitement thermique.
