Abstract

L'invention concerne une cale de positionnement, de fixation et de support de glissière de sécurité, ou cale d'écartement, servant à écarter une glissière de sécurité de poteaux, tels que des poutres en forme de <= I >=, plantés dans le sol. La cale d'écartement prévient un impact des roues d'un véhicule contre les poutres en <= I >= et prévient un début de roulis du véhicule. La cale d'écartement est généralement une cale rectangulaire ou cubique comportant des cavités servant de moule destinées à réduire le poids, ainsi que des languettes ou des éléments saillants, qui coopèrent pour venir en contact avec le côté du poteau et le bord de la glissière de sécurité pour positionner, maintenir en position et fixer cette glissière de sécurité, au moyen d'éléments de retenue tels que des boulons. Une configuration en grillage peut être utilisée pour fournir un support structurel à l'intérieur de la cavité. La cale d'écartement peut être formée par moulage par injection à basse pression, de sorte à former une cale d'écartement à mousse structurelle permettant d'optimiser les caractéristiques de résistance par rapport au poids de la cale d'écartement. Cette dernière peut être constituée d'une matière plastique vierge et/ou recyclée et/ou comporter une matière caoutchouc vierge ou recyclée, obtenue par exemple par rebroyage de pneus usagés et/ou d'une autre matière élastomère ayant une autre origine.
