Abstract

L'invention concerne l'impression à jet d'encre sur des panneaux (15) rigides pouvant présenter une surface profilée (16). Des panneaux sont imprimés au moyen d'une encre à séchage ultraviolet, l'encre pouvant être plus complètement traitée et séchée afin de l'enlever à l'étape de chauffage. L'espace entre la tête d'impression et le panneau peut être réglé afin de maintenir une distance constante prédéterminée entre l'élément d'impression et la surface du panneau. Les têtes d'impression (130a-130d) sont mobiles indépendamment les unes des autres, ce qui permet de contrôler l'espace entre les têtes d'impression et le substrat. Le capteur (138) mesure la distance de la tête d'impression à la surface du substrat. Les têtes de séchage ultraviolet peuvent être placées sur le chariot de tête d'impression (129). On peut utiliser des sources froides de rayonnement ultraviolet pour prévenir la déformation des substrats plats ou profilés du fait de la chaleur, ce qui permet de réaliser des séchages ponctuels sur des substrats thermosensibles.
