Abstract

Selon l'invention, il est prévu afin d'exploiter un dispositif de stockage temporaire, par exemple d'articles plats stockés temporairement en rouleaux, notamment de produits d'impression, au moins un dispositif de positionnement (5) et au moins un dispositif d'orientation (6). Le dispositif comprend une pluralité de postes de bobinage (1), une pluralité de supports de rouleaux (2) et une pluralité de points de stockage (2,1, 2,2) pour les supports de rouleaux (2). Les points de stockage (2,1, 2,2) sont disposés sur une pluralité de parcours de transport primaires (3) parallèles. Ces parcours de transport primaires (3) coupent au moins un parcours de transport secondaire (4,1, 4,2). Les entrées de postes de bobinage (1) sont placées le long d'un parcours de transport secondaire (4) et sont alignées sur les parcours de transport primaires (3). Le dispositif de positionnement (5) peut être déplacé de manière active le long des parcours de transport primaires (3), afin d'enlever les supports de rouleaux (2) en les tirant et de les positionner par secousses dans des points de stockage (2,1, 2,2) et des postes de bobinage (1). Le dispositif d'orientation (6) sert à recevoir des dispositifs de positionnement (5) chargés ou vides, pour les réorienter vers des parcours de transport primaires pour d'autres étapes de transport, pour les déplacer le long de parcours de transport secondaires (4,1, 4,2) et éventuellement pour les lever ou les abaisser vers d'autres niveaux comportant d'autres points de stockage (2,1, 2,2) et des parcours de transport primaires et secondaires (3,4). Le procédé et le dispositif s'utilisent de la même manière pour exploiter des dispositifs de stockage temporaire de rouleaux d'articles plats qui peuvent être manipulés sans support de rouleau, par exemple sur des palettes, ou bien d'autres formations de stockage d'articles plats pouvant être manipulés avec d'autres éléments supports appropriés.
