Abstract

La présente invention concerne des joints, dont des chemises pour fermeture de récipients, garnitures et membranes écran renfermant une composition polymère avec un coefficient de transmission de l'oxygène, sous une température de 25 ·C, de moins de 300 cm?3¿.mil/100 po?2¿.jour.atm. (1,2 cm?3¿/cm.jour.MPa) environ. Cette composition polymère comprend au moins un interpolymère essentiellement aléatoire (ou un mélange renfermant au moins un interpolymère essentiellement aléatoire et au moins un autre polymère) et de 0 à 80 % en poids (par rapport au poids total de la composition) d'au moins une charge. Cette invention concerne des systèmes d'étanchéité, dont des systèmes de fermeture pour récipients tels que des bouchons de bouteille dotés de tels joints. Les interpolymères ou les mélanges utilisés pour la fabrication des joints selon l'invention (ainsi que les nouveaux joints eux-mêmes) se distinguent par un remarquable dosage de propriétés diverses, dont une faible perméabilité à l'oxygène, une faible dureté Shore A et une excellente reprise élastique.
