Abstract

Se trata de un material sellante, inclusive como material de revestimiento del cierre de recipientes, empaques y membranas de barrera, que comprenden unacomposicion polimérica que tiene un coeficiente de transmision de oxígeno a una temperatura de 25sC menor de aproximadamente 300 cm3Àml/100 pulg2ÀdíaÀatmosfera(1/2 cm3/cmÀdíaÀMPal, caracterizado porque la composicion polimérica comprende:(A) al menos un interpolímero sustancialmente aleatorio que comprende: (1) de 24a 65 por ciento molar de unidades poliméricas derivadas de: (a) al menos un monomero aromático de vinilideno, o (B)al menos un monomero de vinilidenoalifático o cicloalifático impedido o (c) una combinacion de al menos un monomero de vinilideno aromático y al menos un monomero de vinilideno alifático ocicloalifático impedido, y (2) de 35 a 76 por ciento de unidades poliméricas derivadas de al menos una a-olefina de 2 a 20 átomos de carbono; o (B) una mezclaque comprende: (1) de 35 a 99 por ciento en peso (en base al peso combinado de los Componentes B1 y B2), del Componente A; y (2) de 1 a 65 por ciento en peso(en base a los pesos combinado de los Componentes B1 y B2) de al menos un polímero diferente del Componente A; y (C) de 0 a 90 por ciento en peso (en base alos pesos combinados de los componentes A, B, y C) de al menos un componente de relleno.
