Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de production d'eau chaude du type comprenant au moins un brûleur (13) agencé pour produire une combustion vive à l'intérieur d'une chambre de combustion. La chambre de combustion est formée par un conteneur étanche (14) délimitant un volume interne à l'abri de l'eau afin d'autoriser une combustion sèche. Ce conteneur (14) est immergé dans un compartiment d'eau (12) et est prolongé par au moins un diffuseur de gaz brûlés (15) qui diffuse les gaz brûlés au-dessus du compartiment d'eau au coeur d'une masse d'eau déversée en pluie par des moyens de pulvérisation (10). Une couche (11) de nodules peut être interposée sur le trajet des gaz brûlés et de l'eau pulvérisée afin d'accroître l'échange thermique produit, d'une part, par contact direct gaz brûlés/eau pulvérisée, d'autre part, par conduction conteneur (14)/eau du compartiment (12). L'invention permet d'atteindre d'excellents rendements thermiques tout en produisant des gaz brûlés ayant un taux de CO réduit.
