Abstract
Pour l'obtention d'hydroxydes métalliques sous une forme pulvérulente aisément séparable, à partir de ce métal en solution, on provoque, par passage d'un courant électrique à travers la solution, la formation du précipité d'hydroxyde contre une membrane échangeuse d'ions solide, cette membrane séparant le compartiment anodique du compartiment cathodique. Si la solution est une solution acide, la membrane est une membrane anionique. Si la solution est une solution basique, la membrane est une membrane cationique.
