1, The invention relates to a pivot for a tilting or oscillating window.
roof comprising a fixed element fixed to the frame and connects by a first hinge pin at one end of a lever tilting and a movable element secured to the tilting opening or oscillating and connected, by a second axis of articulation, to the other ex-end of the tilting lever, these two articulation axes being shifted strips in the open position of the swinging or oscillating opening the exterior with respect to the plan of the opening following a first rotation around the second articulation axis connecting the tilt lever lant to the movable element followed by a second rotation around the first mier axis of articulation connecting the rocking lever to the fixed element.
We already know a pivot for tilting or tilting window structure comprising a fixed element integral with the frame, a movable element integral with the tilting or swinging leaf and a tilting lever one end of which is connected by a first hinge pin to the fixed element and the other end of which is connected by a second axis of articulation to the movable element.
To provide a cleaning position for the glass surface of the the opening normally facing outwards, we note the second articulation axis above the frame by involving a rotation of the lever rocking around the first articulation axis and, at this indeed, there is a locking device located laterally between the fixed element and the mobile element to prevent rotation around the second articulation axis as long as the window opening did not reach a certain inclination.
Said pivot is arranged in a rebate between the frame and the opening and this results in a number of drawbacks. Rn indeed, the width of this rebate is less than the thickness of the pivot resulting from the lateral arrangement of the locking device. Therefore, we is obliged to make cuts in the edges of the sash and the songs of the dormant. To be able to make these cuts without weakening blir the frame of the frame and / or the frame of the opening, it is necessary that these said frames have a certain width but this width is done at the expense of the glass surface.
~ d ~
~ LZ ~ 804L ~
Furthermore, if these cuts can be made in frames in wood, they are practically impracticable in trained frames of pr ~ metallic or plastic yarns.
The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks.
To this end, the invention relates to a pivot for tilting window or oscillating roof comprising a fixed element integral with the frame and connected by a first hinge pin to one end of a tilting lever and a movable element secured to the tilting leaf or oscillating and connected, by a second axis of articulation, to the other end of the tilting lever, these two articulation axes being wedged in the open position of the tilting or oscillating leaf outwardly relative to the plane of the opening following a first rotation around the second articulation axis connecting the tilt lever lant to the mobi] e element followed by a second rotation around the first mier axis of articulation connecting the rocking lever to the fixed element, characterized in that on the second articulation axis connecting the element movable to the rocking lever are arranged locking means ending after the first rotation of the movable element around of said second articulation axis, to the cooperation of ~ oyens de ver-rust with elastic return for the second rotation of the lever lant around the first axis of articulation connecting the other end of said lever tilting to the fixed element.
The advantages obtained thanks to this invention consist essentially-in that the pivot can be applied, on the one hand, to the opening and, on the other hand, on the frame, which allows to remove any nicking as part of the frame and / or as part of the vrant risking weakening said frames. In addition, this pivot can be used in the case of windows with a frame and a frame.
sashes are made of metal profiles or of ma-plastic.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the blocking means of the pivot are a blocking element threaded on the second articulation axis : `:

lation and made integral in rotation with the movable element by means of medial of a lug protruding from one of the faces of this last.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the blocking element is located between the front face of the wing of the rocking lever and the face back of a plate threaded by one of its ends on the second articulation axis and maintained by an axis passing through the orifice dried in its other end, this axis being integral with the front face of the parallel wing of the rocking lever.
The invention will be better understood by referring to the following description made by way of nonlimiting example and in the attached drawing in the-what :

We refer to the different figures.
Pivot 1, applied as a surface on each longitudinal edge of a tilting or oscillating roof window, consists of a fixed element
Par voie de con-séquence, l'élément mobile 3 peut pivoter autour de l'axe d'articula-tion 36 jusqu'à ce que son arrêt 72 vient buter contre l'ergot 74 saillant de la face arrière 38 de l'aile 34 du levier basculant 4. 2, made integral with the frame of a window that is tilting or oscillating of a roofj of a movable element 3 fixed on the opening of this window tre and a rocking lever 4 located between the two elements 2 and 3.
Pivot 1, projecting from the outer face of the door and of the frame or with respect to the internal face of the opening and the mant, gives the opening a rotation of one hundred and eighty degrees for cleaning the external face of the window glass of said window be. Furthermore, the pivot 1 makes it possible to give the opening a posi-the opening and maintain said opening in this posi-tion (see Figures 4 and 5).
The fixed element 2 comprises a vertical flange 5, the lower end of which lower 6 abuts a sole 7 fixed on the face of the frame. The semel-the 7, perpendicular to the vertical flange 5, has a keeper 8 at flower with the underside 9 of the sole 7 and projecting laterally with respect to the front face 10 of the vertical flange 5. Ia-clite strike 8 serves as a locking means ~ i opening and has a locking ramp 11 projecting from the bottom 12 of the keeper 8 and cooperating with a hooking wall 13 parallel to the bottom 12 and covering said locking ramp 11.
On the front face 10 of the vertical flange 5 is fixed a plate 14 made integral with said vertical flange by a fixing element 15 and having at its upper end 1 ~ a stop 17. This plate 14 is crossed by a first articulation axis 18 comprising a head protruding from the rear face of the plate 14 and engaging in a light 19 made in the vertical flange 5 of the fixed element 2. The presence of the fixing element 15 and of the axis of articulation 18 annihilates any rotation of the plate 14 by ~ 80 ~ 4 ~
relative to the vertical flange 5 of the fixed element 2 On the hinge pin 18 is threaded a braking washer bent between the front face 20 of the plate 14 and the rear face of the tilting lever 4. This has the shape of a "U" composed of two parallel wings 22,34 and a transverse wall connecting the latter.
The keeper 8, integral with the fixed element 2, is located at the level of the transverse wall. We practice in the upper end 21 of one parallel wings 22 an orifice 23 through which the axis passes hinge 18. Then, put on the latter a second washer braking interposed between the front face 24 of the parallel wing 22 of the rocking lever 4 and the rear face of a holding element 25 threaded on the hinge pin 18 passing through an orifice 26 made in one of the ends 27 of the retaining element 25. To avoid that the latter is rotated by the rocking lever 4, one practices in the other end 28 of the holding element 25 a orifice 29 through which a lug 30 projecting through relative to the front face 20 of the plate 14 and integral with the latter niere. Thus, the rocking lever 4 can pivot on the first axis of articulation 18 and describe a rotation relative to the plate 14 and to the holding element 25, these two elements 14 and 25 forming a sort of yoke. The hinge pin 18 has one end threaded 31 onto which a clamping element 32 is screwed.
We realize in the upper end 33 of the other parallel wing 34 of the rocking lever 4 an orifice 35 allowing the passage of a second hinge pin 36 making the wing 34 of the rocking lever integral 4 of the movable element 3. There is interposed between the front face 37 of the element movable ment 3 and the rear face 38 of the wing 34 of the rocking lever 4 a lock washer. We thread on the second articulation axis 36 a blocking element 39 having at one of its ends 40 an orifice 41 and at the other extremi ~ e 42 an orifice 43 through which passes a lug 44 protruding from the front face 37 of the movable element 3. As a result, the locking element 39 is integral in rotation of the movable element 3. It is threaded on the second articulation axis culation 36 a plate 45 having for this purpose an orifice 46 made ~ z91 ~
at one of its ends 47. Then, after fitting the plate 45, a member of the second articulation axis 36 is threaded maintenance 48 in which one has re ~ read, in one of its ends 49, an orifice 50. One practices in the other end 51 of this element retaining ment 48 a second orifice 52 through which passes the er-got 44. Therefore, the holding element 48 is integral in rotation of the movable element 3 and can pivot relative to the parallel wing 34 of the tilting lever 4.
The hinge pin 36 has a threaded end 53 on which a tightening element 54 is screwed.
The parallel wing 34 of the rocking lever 4 has an axis 55 forming projecting from the front face 56 of said wing 34 and passing through an orifice 57 produced in another end 58 of the plate 45. On this axis 55 can pivot a locking element 5g interposed between said face before t 56 of the wing 34 of the rocking lever ~ I and the face back of plate 45.
This locking element 59 comprises a first locking finger 60 cooperating with a notch 61 made in the periphery 62 of the element blocking ment 39. Furthermore, the locking element 59 comprises a second doi ~ t locking 63 cooperating with the keeper 8 of the fixed ment 2 by means of a hooking notch 64 bearing on against the active edge 65 of the attachment wall 13 of the keeper 8.
The locking element 59 is elastic return. To this end, we provides an elastic element ~ 6. According to a preferred embodiment cost-effective, the elastic element 66 is wound around the axis 55 and has a first branch 67 whose curved end 68 takes support against the edge 69 of the locking element 59 and a second branch 70 bearing against a stud 71 secured to the front face of the rocking lever 4.
The movable element 3 has two stops 72,73 cooperating with a lug 74 projecting from the rear face 38 of the parallel wing the 34 of the rocking lever 4, the cooperation of the stops 7Z, 73 with the lug 74 limiting the rotation of the movable element 3, relative to the wing 34 of the rocking lever 4 (see Figures 3 and 7).
The operation of the pivot is as follows; we consider that the opening of the tilting or swinging window is in the closed position. The different elements described above occupy the positions represented shown in Figures 1 to 3.
By pushing the opening outwards, we invoke the rotation of this one around the articulation axis 36. During this rotation, the opening causes the movable element 3 to rotate. The latter drives in rotation the locking element 39 until the notch 61 is located opposite the first locking finger 60 of the locking element lage 59. Under the effect of the first branch 67 of the elastic element 66 in the prestressed position, the first locking finger 60 engages in notch 6.1 (see figures 4 and 5).
During the rotation of the movable element 3, the stop 73 of the latter deny abuts the lug 74 of the parallel wing 34 of the lever : tilting 4. The interaction of said stop 73 with the lug 74, on the one hand, ensures a limitation of opening of the opening and, on the other hand, co-operates, for the same effects, with the interaction between the first locking finger 60 of the locking element 59 and the notch 61 of the element of b: Location 39.
By continuing to turn the opening, the cooperation of the notch 61 and the first locking finger 60 of the locking element 59 has support the cooperation of the second locking finger ~ 3 with the keeper 8 of the fixed element 2, as a result of the rotation of the glass element rusting 59 effaçan ~ the catch 64 relative to the edge active 65 of the attachment wall 13 of said keeper 8. As a result, the opening, via the movable element 3, drives in tation the rocking lever 4 around the first articulation axis 18.
35; Therefore, it is possible to give the sash a rotation of one hundred and eighty degrees as shown in Figures 6 and 7, - ~ 9l ~ 04: 4 following a first rotation around the hinge pin 36, followed by life of a second rotation around the axis of articulation 18.
By closing the door, it pivots around the hinge axis 18 until the second locking finger 63 of the locking 59 is placed between the locking ramp 11 and the attachment wall 13 of the keeper 8 of the fixed element-2. As a result of the cooperation of the locking ramp 11 and the access wall spitting 13 of the striker 8 with the second locking finger 63 of the locking element 59, the latter is caused to rotate around the axis 55 of the wing 34 of the lever 4 and, by way of quence, the disengagement of the first locking finger 60 out of the check mark 61 of the locking element 39. Simultaneously, the setting is brought about under tension of the elastic element 66 and the locking of the lever lant 4. As a result of the dissolution of cooperation between the element 59 and the locking element 39, the latter becomes bre to turn around the hinge pin 36. By way of con-sequence, the movable element 3 can pivot around the articulation axis tion 36 until its stop 72 comes up against the lug 74 protruding from the rear face 38 of the wing 34 of the rocking lever 4.
