8. Casement stay according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the pivot axis of the stop arm (105) and said perpendicular to the plane of join define a plane substantially at right angles to the leaf and to the fixed frame.
9. Casement stay according to claim 8, characterised in that the stop arm (105) is pivotally mounted on a base (103) of substantially triangular section.
10. Casement stay according to one of claims 8 and 9, characterised in that the notch (102) presents a plane of symmetry parallel to the plane of join.
11. Casement stay according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that a bolt (230) actuated by a lock (231) may advance beneath the tongue (221) to prohibit bending thereof.
