Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a generally symmetrical front bumper for an automobile having a front surface, side surfaces, a top surface, a lower edge, and an upper edge; the front bumper has smooth curved corner areas between the front surface and the side surfaces; the front bumper has a narrow central area and a ridge which extends the length of the front bumper and separates the front surface and side surfaces into lower sections and upper sections; the ridge is generally horizontal over most of its length and curves upwards in the side surfaces and extends upwardly and rearwards through straight sections to the ends of the front bumper;the lower edge of the front surface has a central horizontal section which is spaced close to the ridge over most of its length before bending downwards and outwards close to the side surfaces through straight sections which then curve into short generally horizontal sections in the side surfaces which extend to the ends of the front bumper;the upper edge of the front bumper has a central horizontal section which is spaced close to the ridge over most of its length before curving upwards and outwards and then bending into straight sections close to the side surfaces and then bending downwards and rearwards to the ends of the front bumper;the top surface extends rearwards from the upper edge of the front surface in the area of the central horizontal section and the adjacent upwards and outwards sections of the upper edge.The portion of the drawings shown in stippled lines does not form part of the design.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a front elevation view of the design of the front bumper for an automobile;Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 3 is a right side elevation view thereof; andFig. 4 is a front right side perspective view thereof.Diagrams of the design are included.
