Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a fender for an automobile having a side surface and an upper surface; the upper surface has a short pointed front end portion and a rear end projection; a curved inner edge of the upper surface extends downwards from the rear end projection and then extends inwards to a pointed area and then bends downwards and merges through a rounded area into a generally straight edge which extends forwardly towards the pointed front end portion; the pointed front end portion has an adjacent generally V-shaped recess having a rounded bottom; the upper end projection has a generally straight rear edge and an adjacent rounded recess; a smooth curved ridge extends rearwardly from the rounded bottom of the generally V-shaped recess to the rear edge of the fender and separates the upper surface from the side surface of the fender; the side surface of the fender has a large curved front edge and a ridge that is spaced outwardly from the curved front edge and follows the curvature of the front edge of the side surface; the side surface is curved slightly outwards in end view and extends downwardly to a narrow lower portion of the fender; the rear edge of the side surface is bent inwards.The portion of the drawings shown in stippled lines does not form part of the design.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a front elevation view of the design of the fender for an automobile;Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 3 is a right side elevation view thereof;Fig. 4 is a left side elevation view thereof; andFig. 5 is a front left perspective view thereof.Diagrams of the design are included.
