Abstract
The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the front cowl for a motorcycle having a generally arrow-like configuration with a smooth front surface, an upper portion, and a lower portion; the upper portion curves rearwards to the right and is slightly recessed relative to the lower portion; the upper portion has a left edge which is angled upward to the right and merges through a curved corner into a straight upper edge; the upper portion has a right edge which is angled upwards to the right and meets the upper edge in a sharp corner; the upper portion has an opening therein which appears as being somewhat oblong in front elevation view; a lateral ridge separates the slightly recessed upper portion from the lower portion of the front cowl; the lower portion curves rearwards to the right and has a left side edge which is angled downwards to the right and merges through a curved corner into a straight lower edge; the lower portion has a right side edge which is angled downwards to the right and meets the straight lower edge in a sharp corner; the angled left side edges of the upper and lower portions merge through curved transition areas into a narrow forward portion of the front cowl; the lower edge of the forward portion has a flat narrow portion extending rearwards part way along its length; the flat narrow portion merges into a short flat rearwards extending portion which is situated at the left end of the front cowl; the angled right side edges of the upper and lower portions merge through rounded corners into a rearwards bent lip-like portion which extends the height of the front cowl.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Figure 1 is a front perspective view from the right side of a front cowl for a motorcycle;Figure 2 is a rear perspective view from the right side thereof;Figure 3 is a front perspective view from the left side thereof;Figure 4 is a rear perspective view from the left side thereof;Figure 5 is a front elevation view thereof;Figure 6 is a rear elevation view thereof;Figure 7 is a right side elevation view thereof;Figure 8 is a left side elevation view thereof;Figure 9 is a top plan view thereof; andFigure 10 is a bottom plan view thereof.Diagrams of the design are included.
