Abstract

The said industrial design consists the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the door lining for automobile as shown in the diagrams; the door lining has a generally flat right side surface and a flat bottom surface, a curved left side surface, a narrow and generally flat top surface which curves slightly upwards adjacent the left side thereof, and a front surface; the side surfaces and the bottom surface have curved corners between them; the front surface has a dish-shaped circular area in the lower left hand corner having a first pattern of small circular openings therein which are situated in concentric circles about a small domed central circular area having a second pattern of concentrically situated small circular openings therein; a large generally D-shaped flat first recessed area is situated above the dish-shaped circular area and merges into the left side surface of the door lining; the first recessed area has a further recessed area therein in the upper left hand corner thereof; a second recessed area is situated along the lower edge of the door lining and increases in height from adjacent the circular area to the right side edge of the door lining; the narrow generally flat top surface of the door lining merges into a downwards and forwardly inclined surface portion which extends across most of the door lining and tapers to a point close to the right edge of the front surface; the inclined surface portion has a handle portion adjacent a lower edge thereof which is situated part way along its length; a lateral groove extends across the door lining below the handle portion and widens and curves downwardly into a generally bullet-shaped end section situated near the right edge of the front surface; the lateral groove then curves downwards and to the left away from the end section as it widens and merges into a ridge which continues downwards to a location close to the dish-shaped circular area; a third recessed area is situated to the right of the dish-shaped circular area and has scalloped inside surfaces and a curved upper edge, a straight lower edge and downwardly converging side edges in elevation view; an arm rest portion projects forwardly from the front surface of the door lining and is situated above the third recessed area; the arm rest portion extends downwards and rearwards from adjacent the lower edge of the handle portion and is spaced apart from the front surface of the door lining; the arm rest portion then bends rearwards and widens as it merges into the front surface of the door lining to form a generally flat upper surface of the arm rest portion which narrows gradually towards the right end of the arm rest portion; the arm rest portion has a curved front surface and a curved lower edge which extends upwards to the right where it merges into the upper edge of the lower section of the lateral groove; a wall portion extends in front of the lower portion of the third recessed area.
