The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a food masher having a generally cylindrical main body portion, a handle portion, and a lever portion; the generally cylindrical main body portion has a bottom wall and a raised annular area adjacent the lower end thereof; the bottom wall has a plurality of small circular openings therein forming a pattern of concentric circles;the handle portion has a rounded rear end surface, a pair of side walls, and a bottom wall; the bottom wall extends from the rounded rear end surface most of the way along the length of the handle portion to an inclined forward surface which extends from the bottom wall to a short top wall section; the top wall section then extends forwards to the upper rear edge of the generally cylindrical main body portion; the side walls of the handle portion taper slightly inwards along their length, then curve around the upper end of the generally cylindrical main body portion, and then taper inwards to merge into the side walls of a forwardly-extending front lip portion; the front lip portion has a rounded end in plan view; the handle portion has a central rib portion situated between the side walls which extends from the rounded rear end surface to the inclined forward surface; the upper edge of the rib portion generally conforms to the upper edges of the side walls of he handle portion but includes an upwardly-extending generally triangular protuberance having a rounded apex, the protuberance being situated part way along the length of the upper edge of the rib portion; the generally triangular protuberance merges into an aligned projection extending downwards from the lever portion;the lever portion has an elongated arm having a top wall and side walls; the side walls generally follow the contour and shape of the side walls of the handle portion; the side walls of the lever portion curve around a large generally circular lid section and then taper inwards through a gentle curve to an end section with is situated above and part way along the length of the front lip portion of the handle portion; the lower edges of the side walls of the lever portion are spaced apart from and generally follow the contour of the upper edges of the side walls of the handle portion; the generally circular lid section curves slightly upwards from one side to the other and has a curved projection at the rear end thereof; the top wall of the lever portion has a central concave depression adjacent the curved projection of the generally circular lid section. In a first position, the generally circular lid section is generally in alignment with the top surface of the lever portion. In a second position, the circular lid section extends upwards and forwards at an obtuse angle to the top surface of the lever portion; the inner surface of the lever portion beneath the generally circular lid section is flat and recessed and has a plurality of small circular openings therein forming a pattern of concentric circles.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a perspective view from the right rear side and above of the design of the food masher with the lid section in a closed position;Fig. 2 is a perspective view from the right rear side and above of the design of the food masher with the lid section in an open position;Fig. 3 is a left side view of the food masher with the lid section in a closed position;Fig. 4 is a rear end view of the food masher with the lid section in a closed position;Fig. 5 is a front end view of the food masher with the lid section in a closed position,Fig. 6 is a top plan view of the food masher with the lid section in a closed position; andFig. 7 is a bottom plan view of the food masher with the lid section in a closed position.Diagrams of the design are included.
