Abstract
Método e sistema para limitar a aplicação de areia a um trilho ferroviário. Um método e um produto do tipo programa de computador para que se limite o uso de areia em um trilho ferroviário, a qual é usada em um sistema de aplicação de areia de uma locomotiva, o qual aplica areia à via férrea, o que inclui uma diversidade de aplicadores de areia, para que se dirija o fluxo de areia em direção aos trilhos. O método e o produto programa de computador podem incluir passos para que se controle de forma automática o fluxo de areia, para que se limite a aplicação de areia às situações nas quais a aplicação de areia à via férrea é efetiva no incremento de adesão de ao menos uma das rodas da locomotiva, ao trilho por uma quantidade pré- determinada. A operação de cada um, dos diversos aplicadores de areia, pode ser controlada de forma independente, para que se operem seletivamente aqueles aplicadores de areia, os quais a operação irá resultar em ao menos um incremento pré- determinado no aumento incremental da adesão das rodas da locomotiva, com relação ao trilho, enquanto que não se opera os outros aplicadores de areia de tal forma a limitar a quantidade de areia que é aplicada aos trilhos.
