Abstract
Un método para recubrir por lo menos una porcion de la superficie expuesta de un metal que comprende: a) aplicar a dicha superficie una composicion de recubrimiento curable que comprende una solucion acuosa de por lo menos un silano parcialmentehidrolizado o hidrolizado substancialmente en forma completa, y opcionalmente condensado en forma parcial, que posee uno mas grupos hidroxilo y, opcionalmente, uno o mas grupos organonitrogeno, estando dicho grupo o grupos hidroxilo y grupo o gruposorganonitrogeno opcionales unidos a diferentes átomos de carbono de un grupo puente que une dicho grupo o grupos al átomo de silano parcialmente hidrolizado o hidrolizado substancialmente en forma completa y opcionalmente condensado en formaparcial; y b) curar la composicion de recubrimiento curable sobre la superficie del metal para proveer sobre la misma un recubrimiento de anti-corrosion y/o promotor de adherencia.
