Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA UM MEIO óPTICO DE MúLTIPLOS LASERS". Um meio óptico armazena informações de habilitação legíveis por parte de um laser azul que permite a leitura de conteúdos a partir do meio óptico de um laser vermelho. Por exemplo, as informações de habilitação são as informações de proteção de conteúdo necessárias para decodificar o conteúdo, as informações de tipo de disco de meio óptico que são usadas para definir os parâmetros de leitura do laser vermelho, ou uma chave necessária para ler o conteúdo. As informações de habilitação ficam dispostas no meio óptico de modo a ser legível por meio da iluminação de um laser azul, porém indistinguíveis através da iluminação do laser vermelho. Por exemplo, as informações de habilitação são colocadas na superfície externa de um meio óptico no qual o ponto de foco do laser azul permite a leitura de marcações, e o laser vermelho tem uma precisão insuficiente para enfocar marcações individuais. As marcações podem também ser tingidas sobre a superfície externa com um material refletivo à luz azul, mas com uma refletividade de luz vermelha inibida. De maneira alternativa, as informações de habilitação são formadas com cavidades dimensionadas em aproximadamente metade do comprimento de onda do laser vermelho de modo a reduzir a energia refletiva por meio de uma extinção de fase.
