Abstract

"ALINHAMENTO DE DADOS DE ULTRA-SOM COM IMAGEM PRé-ADQUIRIDA". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema e um método para a formação de imagem de um alvo no corpo de um paciente usam uma imagem pré-adquirida do alvo e um cateter tendo um sensor de posição e um sensor de formação de imagem ultra-sónica. O cateter é posicionado no corpo do paciente e uma informação de posição de uma porção do cateter no corpo do paciente é determinada usando-se o sensor de posição. O cateter é usado para a geração de uma imagem ultra-sónica do alvo usando-se o sensor de formação de imagem ultra-sónica. Um processador de imagem é usado para a determinação de uma informação de posição para qualquer pixel da imagem ultra-sónica do alvo e alinhamento da imagem pré-adquirida com a imagem ultra-sónica; e um visor é usado para a exibição da imagem pré-adquirida e da imagem ultra-sónica alinhadas.
