Abstract
MéTODO DE PRODUZIR CáNULA AFILADA OU PONTIAGUDA é provido um método de produzir um dispositivo tubular. O método compreende prover uma matéria-prima tubular (24) tendo uma passagem axial, aquecer a matéria-prima tubular (24) em um primeiro local de aquecimento para formar uma seção amolecida (38), a seção amolecida (38) separando uma porção da peça a trabalhar da matéria-prima tubular a partir de uma porção restante da matéria-prima tubular (24), e estirar a porção da peça a trabalhar a partir da porção restante para alongar a seção amolecida (38, 40) e separar a porção da peça a trabalhar a partir da porção restante para formar o dispositivo tubular. O estiramento é realizado em uma taxa tal que o dispositivo tubular tem uma passagem axial tendo um diâmetro interno substancialmente uniforme, e uma extremidade do dispositivo tubular formada a partir da seção amolecida alongada é afilada (52).
