Abstract

PURIFICAçãO DE 1,1,1,3,3,3-HEXAFLUOROISO-PROPANOL. A presente invenção refere-se a 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoroiso-propanol (HFIP) substancialmente livre de 1,1,1-trifluoroacetona (TFA) pode ser separado de uma mistura contendo ambos os compostos por A) redução catalítica com hidrogênio seguido pela destilação fracionária; B) esfriar para uma temperatura em que o HFIP congele e a TFA permaneça líquida; C) formar um complexo de ebulição elevada que compreende HF e TFA seguido pela destilação fracionária; ou D) produzir condições livres de HF para produzir um azeótropo de HFIP/TFA seguido pela destilação fracioária. é enfatizado que este resumo é fornecido para cumprir com as normas que requerem um resumo, que permitirá um pesquisador ou outro leitor a rapidamente averiguar o assunto objeto da divulgação técnica.
