Abstract
"PROCESSOS PARA PRODUZIR UM VAPOR EM PRESSãO INTERMEDIáRIA E PARA RECUPERAR ENERGIA TéRMICA DE UMA CORRENTE DO PROCESSO EM ALTA TEMPERATURA" Revelado é um método para a recompressão de vapor gerado por um processo para criar um vapor em alta pressão que é útil como um meio de aquecimento em outras partes de um processo de produção de ácido carboxílico ou, em geral utilizado em outro processo. A invenção compreende as seguintes etapas básicas: (a) recuperar energia térmica de pelo menos uma parte da corrente do processo em alta temperatura resultando de um processo de produção de ácido carboxílico em uma primeira zona de transferência de calor para produzir uma corrente em baixa pressão; (b) submeter o vapor em baixa pressão a uma zona de compressão para gerar um vapor em pressão intermediária; (c) utilizar o vapor em pressão intermediária como um meio de aquecimento, especificamente dentro de outras partes do processo de ácido tereftálico ou geralmente utilizado em outro processo por meio disso gerando condensado de vapor; e (d) opcionalmente, reciclar todo ou parte do condensado de vapor para a segunda zona de transferência de calor para geração de vapor em baixa pressão.
