Abstract
"BATERIA SECUNDáRIA COM SEGURANçA APERFEIçOADA". A presente invenção provê uma bateria secundária compreendendo um invólucro de bateria o qual encerra o perímetro externo da bateria secundária e recobre a inteira superfície externa dos eletrodos positivo e negativo e uma porção de cada terminal dos eletrodos positivo e negativo, onde o invólucro da bateria é formado por um filme laminado que inclui uma camada externa de polímero, uma camada interna de alumínio e uma camada adesiva formada em uma porção da superfície interna da camada de alumínio, a camada de aluminio do invólucro da bateria sendo eletricamente conectada com qualquer um dos terminais positivo e negativo. Em outro aspecto, a invenção provê uma bateria secundária compreendendo um invólucro de bateria o qual encerra o perímetro externo da bateria secundária e recobre a inteira superfície externa dos eletrodos positivo e negativo e uma porção de cada terminal dos eletrodos positivo e negativo, onde o invólucro da bateria é formado por um filme laminado que inclui uma camada externa de polímero, uma camada interna de alumínio e uma camada adesiva formada em uma porção da superfície interna da camada de alumínio, incluindo pelo menos uma chapa de metal eletricamente condutiva em pelo menos uma superfície externa superior e inferior, e cada chapa de metal eletricamente condutiva está eletricamente conectada com qualquer um dos terminais positivo e negativo. Na bateria secundária da invenção, a corrente que surge em condições tais como penetração de farpas/cavacos pode fluir para a camada de alumínio do invólucro ou para a chapa de metal fora do invólucro para inibir a geração de calor dentro da bateria, assim aperfeiçoando a segurança da bateria.
