"SISTEMA DE ANTENA DE ARRANJO FASEADO COM INCLINAçãO ELéTRICA AJUSTáVEL E INCLUINDO UM ARRANJO DE ELEMENTOS DE ANTENA, E, MéTODO DE AJUSTAR A INCLINAçãO ELéTRICA DE UM SISTEMA DE ANTENA DE ARRANJO FASEADO". Um sistema de antena de arranjo faseado com inclinação elétrica ajustável inclui um arranjo (62) de elementos de antena 62~ 1~ a 62~ 10~. Tem um divisor (44) dividindo um sinal de portadora de radiofreqüência (RF) em dois sinais, entre os quais um deslocador de fase (46) introduz um deslocamento de fase variável. Divisores adicionais (52) e (54) dividem os sinais deslocados relativamente em fase em dois conjuntos de cinco sinais. Quatro de cada um dos conjuntos de cinco sinais são combinados vetorialmente em uma rede de acopladores hibridos de 180 graus 60~ 1~, a 60~ 4~. Isto provê componentes de soma e diferença de vetor que juntos com os cinco membros dos conjuntos são alimentados a deslocadores de fase fixos respectivos (56, 58) e 64~ 1~ a 64~ 10~.
