Abstract

"SISTEMA DE ANTENA DE ARRANJO FASEADO, E, MéTODO PARA PROVER INCLINAçãO ELéTRICA VARIáVEL NO MESMO". Um sistema de antena de arranjo faseado com inclinação elétrica variável inclui um arranjo (60) de elementos de antena (60L1), etc., incorporando um divisor (44) dividindo um sinal de portadora de radiofreqüência (RF) em dois sinais entre os quais um deslocador de fase (46) introduz um deslocamento de fase variável. Um conversor de fase para potência (50) converte os sinais deslocados em fase em sinais com potências dependentes do deslocamento de fase. Divisores de potência (52, 54) dividem os sinais convertidos em dois conjuntos de sinais divididos com número total igual ao número de elementos de antena no arranjo. Conversores de potência para fase (56~ 1~), etc., combinam pares de sinais divididos de divisores de potência diferentes (52, 54): isto provê componentes de soma e diferença de vetor com fase apropriada para provisão a pares respectivos de elementos de antena (60U1, 60L1), etc., localizados eqüidistantes de um centro de arranjo.
