Abstract

"TRATAMENTO NãO CORROSIVO PARA MELHORAR A COMBUSTãO DE CARVãO PULVERIZADO PRESSURIZADO E NãO PRESSURIZADO". São descritos métodos e composições para inibir a corrosão de superfícies metálicas em um sistema de forno. Em um aspecto da invenção, o carvão pulverizado é queimado como combustível na presença de um catalisador/auxiliar de combustão a base de íon cobre. A corrosão é inibida nestes sistemas através do uso de uma blenda de um aminoalcool primário tal como 2-aminoetanol, um aminoalcool terciário tal como trietanolamina, e ácido bórico ou uma forma de sal deste solúvel em água.
