Abstract
"TRATAMENTO NãO CORROSIVO PARA MELHORAR A COMBUSTãO DE CARVãO PULVERIZADO PRESSURIZADO E NãO PRESSURIZADO". São descritos métodos e composições para inibir a corrosão de superfícies metálicas em um sistema de forno. Em um aspecto da invenção, o carvão pulverizado é queimado como combustível na presença de um catalisador/auxiliar de combustão a base de íon cobre. A corrosão é inibida nestes sistemas através do uso de uma blenda de um aminoalcool primário tal como 2-aminoetanol, um aminoalcool terciário tal como trietanolamina, e ácido bórico ou uma forma de sal deste solúvel em água."NON-CORROSIVE TREATMENT TO IMPROVE PRESSURIZED AND UNPREASURised SPRAY COAL COMBUSTION". Methods and compositions for inhibiting corrosion of metal surfaces in an oven system are described. In one aspect of the invention, the pulverized coal is burned as fuel in the presence of a copper ion based catalyst / combustion aid. Corrosion is inhibited in these systems by the use of a blend of a primary amino alcohol such as 2-aminoethanol, a tertiary amino alcohol such as triethanolamine, and boric acid or a water-soluble salt form thereof.
