Abstract

"MéTODOS E SISTEMAS PARA TRADUçãO DE IDIOMAS". Um serviço de tradução é descrito, o serviço sendo proporcionado a um dispositivo móvel sem fio por meio de uma transferência seletiva de informações de um servidor. As informações transferidas incluem uma arquitetura de tradução, tendo um mecanismo de tradução independente de idioma e pelo menos uma base de dados dependente de idioma. A base de dados dependente de idioma inclui modelos de tradução e um dicionário de tradução. Uma base de dados especializada para uma ou mais cidades selecionadas no mundo também pode ser transferida. A tradução entre as línguas é feita por aplicação da base de dados dependente de idioma e, opcionalmente, a base de dados de tradução específica de cidade, para o mecanismo de tradução. O mecanismo de tradução implementa um esquema de substituição atuado por usuário, para simplificar o processo de tradução.
