Abstract
"método de detectar e monitorar dano em uma estrutura, aparelho para uso na detecção e monitoramento de dano em uma estrutura, e, estrutura que é monitorada quanto a dano devido a carregamento cíclico". um método e aparelho para detectar e monitorar fraturas em uma estrutura pelo monitoramento de energia acústica transmitida dentro da estrutura pela recepção contínua por um período de tempo de sinais elétricos de uma pluralidade de transdutores acústicos portados pela estrutura em um processador de pulso para formar rajadas de dados e de pulsos nos sinais e derivar, para cada uma de uma pluralidade e rajadas de dados, valores delta-t representando as diferenças entre tempos de chegada de rajada em cada sensor, os valores delta-t formando um padrão delta-t, e gerar um sinal de indicação de dano quando o padrão de delta-t for repetido por grau predeterminado.
