Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"PISTãO OU êMBOLO E MéTODO PARA CONFECçãO DO MESMO"<D>. Um pistão ou êmbolo compreende um corpo de pistão (10), preferencialmente feito de metal, e uma luva ou elemento de vedação (19) feito de um material deformável, tal como politetrafluoroetileno (PTFE). O elemento de vedação (19) é montado no corpo de pistão (10) passsando-se uma peça básica de elemento de vedação anular (21) com um diâmetro interno, o qual é substancialmente menor do que o diâmetro máximo da parte de superfície cilíndrica externa central (13), em torno de uma primeira extremidade do corpo de pistão, e movendo-a em direção à referida primeira borda circular (11), enquanto a referida peça básica de estação de base (12) é deformada para um encaixe apertado com a parte de superfície cilíndrica externa central (13) e nas cavidades ou depressões (13) formadas ali. Desta maneira, um elemento de vedação tubular (19), o qual se estende axialmente ao longo da parte de superfície externa central, e o qual tem uma primeira e uma segunda extremidade oposta que se estende além das referidas primeira e segunda borgas circulares (11, 12), respectivamente, é formado. Desse modo, ambas essas porções de extremidade opostas do elemento tubular podem funcionar como virolas de vedação (20). Preferencialmente, o corpo de pistão tem uma configuração escalonada com porções de extremidade opostas (14, 15) se estendendo a partir da referida parte de superfície cilíndrica externa central (13), e o diâmetro externo de cada uma das porções de extremidade é menor do que o diâmetro da parte cilíndrica externa central. Assim, as referidas primeira e segunda bordas (11, 12) separam a parte de superfície central (13) das porções de extremidade opostas (14, 15).
