Abstract

"DECIMAçãO DE UM SINAL DE VìDEO DE ALTA DEFINIçãO" Um processador de vídeo (10) recebe dados de imagem digital codificados que são decodificados (12-20) em blocos de pixéis compatíveis ao MPEG. Os blocos de pixéis são decimados no sentido horizontal e no sentido vertical (3) a fim de produzirem uma imagem de tamanho reduzido adequada para um vídeo de imagem-em-imagem, de imagem-sobre-imagem, ou de imagem-em-gráficos. Os dados de entrada decodificados para a rede de decimação são filtrados em nome alternativo (36) e decimados a um fator de 8 a 3.
