Abstract
"PROCESSO DE FABRICAçãO DE PERFILADOS METáLICOS". A invenção se refere a um processo de fabricação de perfilados metálicos de seção parcialmente ou totalmente poligonal por lingotamento contínuo em uma roda de canelura e laminação de modo contínuo com o auxílio de uma série de pelo menos 3 pares de rodízios munidos de uma canelura periférica, e dispostos simetricamente em relação ao perfilado, e alternativamente horizontais e verticais. Esse processo é caracterizado pelo fato de que: as caneluras dos primeiros pares de rodízios são idênticas às caneluras dos rodízios utilizados para a fabricação de perfilados de seção circular; o último par de rodízios possui caneluras que delimitam uma seção que corresponde sensivelmente à seção do perfilado desejado; a seção formada pelas caneluras do último par de rodízios apresenta nos vértices do polígono raios de curvatura compreendidos entre 1 e 5 mm; os lados do polígono não paralelos ao entreferro do último par de rodízios apresentam, em relação aos lados correspondentes da seção do perfilado final um rebaixo compreendido entre 1/2 e 3°. A invenção se aplica notadamente à fabricação de perfilados feitos de liga de alumínio ou de cobre destinados a uma trefilação e/ou um estiramento ulterior.
