Aço para a fabricação de uma peça de mecânica separável, caracterizado pelo fato de sua composição química compreender, em peso: 0,2 % <243> C <243> 0,4 %; 0,1 % <243> Si <243> 1,5 %; 0,3 % <243> Mn <243> 1,4 %; 0 % <243> Ni + Cr <243> 0,45 %; 0 % <243> Mo <243> 0,06 %; 0 % <243> Cu <243> 0,5 %; 0,2 % <243> V <243> 0,5 %; P <243> 0,150 %; 0,005 % <243> N <243> 0,02 %; eventualmente, um ou vários elementos considerados dentre o chumbo até 0,1 %, o telúrico até 0,15 %, o bismuto até 0,15 %, o selênio até 0,02 %, o enxofre até 0,35 % e o cálcio até 0,005 %; eventualmente, pelo menos um elemento considerado dentre o titânio até 0,05 %, o nióbio até 0,1 %, e o alumínio até 0,07 %, o resto sendo o ferro e impurezas e resíduos resultantes da elaboração; o aço tendo uma estrutura essencialmente ferrito-perlítica, a fração ferrítica sendo de pelo menos 20 %, a resistência à tração do aço sendo inferior a 1100 MPa, o limite de elasticidade sendo superior a 700 MPa, a relação Re/Rm sendo superior a 0,73 e a resiliência Kcv sendo inferior a 7 Joules/cm².
