O aparelho compreende as unidades de filtro (13, 14), um bocal de injeção de combustível (31) e um dispositivo de ignição (32). As unidades de filtro (13, 14) consistem em divisórias de cerâmica porosa (21, 22) que formam uma pluralidade de percursos estreitos (23, 24) que se estendem na direção de um fluxo do gás de exaustão.
