Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE UMA PREFORMA DE VIDRO, E, DISPOSITIVO PARA FORMAR UMA PREFORMA óPTICA ALONGADA DE VIDRO" A presente invenção está relacionada a processo e dispositivo para a produção de preforma de vidro usada na fabricação de guias de ondas ópticas. O processo utiliza uma hidrólise em fase gasosa de um precursor de sílica sem usar um gás veículo. O fluxo dos reagentes na câmara de reação é confinado e depositado sobre uma preforma alvo por meio de um cuidadoso controle do perfil térmico no sistema.
