Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA A TRANSFORMAçãO DE UM TUBO INICIAL COM SEçãO TANSVERSAL CIRCULAR EM UM PERFIL EM FORMA DE U, E DISPOSITIVO PARA A REALIZAçãO DO PROCESSO"<D>. Para a transformação de um tubo incial (1) com seção transversal circular em um perfil (2) em forma de U, o tubo inicial (1) é apoiado, em primeiro lugar, com uma metade de circunferência (3) em um apoio, pelo menos parcialmente, e por meio de um bastão de estampagem (8) em forma de régua de guia que fica trontalmente oposto ao apoio, com cume (9) curvado de forma convexa, é estampado em forma de U até o contato de metade de circunferência (10) carregada pelo bastão de estampagem (8) do tubo inicial (1) com a metade de circunferência (3) que fica diametralmente oposta. Depois o bastão de estampagem (8) e uma matriz (14) que apresenta o contorno externo do perfil (2), são deslocados relativamente entre si, até o acabamento do perfil (2) em forma de U. A matriz (14) pode ser de uma ou de várias partes. A posição do tubo inicial (1) durante a deformação prévia é assegudas por pinos de molde posicionados nas extremidades frontais.
