Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES DE BLINDAGEM SEMICONDUTORA DE CABOS". Trata-se de um cabo que compreende um condutor elétrico ou um núcleo de condutores elétricos circundado por uma camada de isolamento curada por umidade, a qual é circundada e contígua por uma camada semicondutora, sendo que a dita camada semicondutora compreende: (a) um copolímero de etileno e um éster insaturado selecionado entre do grupo que consiste em ésteres de vinila, ésteres de ácido acrílico, e ésteres de ácido metacrílico, sendo que o éster está presente no copolímero em uma quantidade de cerca de 20 a cerca de 55 por cento em peso; (b) um negrode fumo condutor; e, opcionalmente, (c) um copolímero de acrilonitrilo e butadieno, sendo que o acrilonitrilo está presente em uma quantidade de cerca de 30 a cerca 60 por cento em peso com base no peso do copolímero ou uma borracha de silicone; contanto que os componentes poliméricos sejam parcialmente reticulados em uma quantidade de cerca de 15 a cerca de 35 por cento.
