Abstract

"PROCESSOS PARA DECAPAR AçO OU UMA LIGA DE NìQUEL OU CROMO EM UM BANHO DE DECAPAGEM ACìDICO AQUOSO, E, EMPREGANDO UMA SOLUçãO DE DECAPAGEM CONTENDO OXIDANTE áCIDO". No processo de decapagem da invenção, aço e ligas de níquel e cromo são decapadas com uma solução de decapagem ácida empregando um oxidante, particularmente peróxido de hidrogênio, e em que o licor é recirculado através de entradas compreendendo um licro de alimentação de bocal em um difusor, como que o licor é retirado do banho e o volume do licor fluindo através do difusor é um múltiplo de fluxo através do bocal. Aço ou ligas são decapados com uma solução ácida contendo ferro e peróxido de hidrogênio livre a uma concentração de até 0,1 gpl. O processo pode operar efetivamente a uma concentração de fluoreto livre de 20 a 30 gpl e uma concentração de ácido sulfúrico de 80 a 110 gpl. O tempo de vida do banho antes de precisar ser substituído pode ser estendido pelo processo comparado com o uso de um sistema de agitação de ar.
