Informação cinemática incluindo estruturas seq³ênciais de imagens de vídeo cinematográficas e, opcionalmente, dados de áudio correspondentes, são convertidos em dados digitais que transmitem de uma localização central (2) para um cinema (6). O dado digital recebido no cinema (6) é provido para um projetor digital (44) que converte o dado digital nas estruturas seq³enciais de imagens de vídeo cinematográficas e projetam as estruturas seq³enciais de imagens de vídeo cinematográficas em uma tela (46).
