O agente de controle de peste inclui um ou mais compostos mascaradores de sabor e/ou compostos que proporcionam confusão/rompedores de aroma e/ou compostos repelentes/irritantes selecionados do grupo de compostos incluindo compostos fenólicos adequados, compostos naftalênicos adequados, compostos mono-terpenóides, compostos C~ 6~, a C~ 14~ de alquino e alqueno alifático adequados e cetonas e metil cetonas adequadas de compostos alifáticos C~ 6~-C~ 14~.
