A presente invenção proporciona um método de soldar junto artigos fabricados de material plástico termoplástico por meio do processo de soldagem a topo, onde os dois artigos a serem soldados juntos são mantidos no lugar em uma relação coaxial por meio de dispositivos de grampeamento. Então, os dois artigos são aquecidos por meio de um dispositivo de aquecimento que pode ser colocado entre os dois artigos para criar uma zona de soldagem fundida na região de cada uma das extremidades livres dos dois artigos Tão logo a zona de soldagem tenha alcançado a temperatura adequada, os dois artigos a serem soldados juntos, são pressionados junto de modo a criar um relevo.
