Abstract

Patente de Invenção:<B>"RESISTêNCIA DE FRENAGEM ELéTRICA"<D>. Os motores elétricos alimentados por conversosres são freq³êntemente freados eletricamente. Para isso, o conversor eletrónico que alimenta o motor é comandado de tal forma que o motor, durante a operação de geração, fornece energia através do conversor para uma resistência de frenagem elétrica conectada adicionalmente ao conversor, onde esta energia é convertida em calor. Afim de impedir uma sobrecarga da resistência de frenagem elétrica, é geralmente prevista uma instalação de proteção adicional eletrónica ou termomecânica. Afim de simplificar esta disposição é proposto prever como resistência de frenagem elétrica uma resistência tal, que o seu material de resistência apresenta uma condutância que diminui progressivamente em uma região de temperatura situada abaixo da temperatura operacional máxima permissível da resistência de frenagem. Com isso, é proporcionada uma auto - limitação da potência recebida pela resistência de frenagem elétrica e com isso é proporcionada uma segurança com relação a um superaquecimento.
