Abstract

<B>ESTRUTUA PARA A LAMINAçãO DE CINTAS<D>. Na laminação de cintas de largura diferente torna-se necessária a adequação da esfericidade dos cilindros de trabalho, a fim de compensar o efeito de suporte dos cilindros intermediários, ou seja cilindros de suporte, ao lado das arestas da cinta, já que os cilindros de trabalho são curvadas ao lado das arestas da cinta. Além disso, é conhecido deslocar axialmente de tal maneira os cilindros de trabalho intermediários e de suporte que nas arestas da cinta não se apresentam setores aguçados (Edge Drop). Tendo em vista um aperfeiçoamento adicional, sendo que simultaneamente e indendependemente o perfil e o nivelamento da aresta e do centro da cinta podem ser regulados com um deslocamento correspondente dos cilindros de trabalho, ou seja dos cilindros intermediários, é proposto, de acordo com a invenção, que os cilindros de trabalho (13a, 13b) e os cilindros intermediários (12a, 12b) sejam configurados em uma de suas faces frontais com recortes anelares (15a, 15b, 16a,
