Uma tela não tramada (12) de microfibras sopradas no estado fundido formadas a partir de uma composição de polietileno e de pelo menos um componente acrescentado para proporcionar estabilidade de processamento ao componente de polietileno. A tela soprada no estado fundido (12) pode ser produzida com altas taxas de alimentação de polímero e apresenta boas propriedades de barreira.
