No caso de uma peça de reforço de ferro fundido austenítico, que está ligada intermetalicamente com uma peça de motor, em particular com um êmbolo de uma liga de base de alumínio, a resistência de união deve ser aperfeiçoada independente da conformação de grafite no material de base.
