AMILASE RECOMBINANTE, COMPOSIÇÃO, SEQUÊNCIA DE POLINUCLEOTÍDEO RECOMBINANTE, VETOR DE EXPRESSÃO, CÉLULA HOSPEDEIRA, MÉTODOS PARA PRODUZIR UMA AMILASE RECOMBINANTE E PARA TRATAR E/OU PREVENIR OS SINTOMAS DE INSUFICIÊNCIA PANCREÁTICA, COMPOSIÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA PARA O TRATAMENTO DE INSUFICIÊNCIA PANCREÁTICA, E, USO. A presente invenção provê polipeptídeos de amilase engenheirados e composições dos mesmos. Os polipeptídeos de amilase engenheirados foram otimizados para prover termoestabilidade melhorada, estabilidade de protease e estabilidade sob uma faixa de condições de pH, incluindo condições ácidas (o pH é menor do que 7). A invenção também se refere ao uso das composições compreendendo os polipeptídeos de amilase engenheirados para propósitos terapêuticos e/ou nutricionais.
