Abstract
MÉTODO DE OPERAÇÃO DE ALTO-FORNO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método de operação de alto-forno que permite que um alto-forno inicie suavemente e realize a operação após a suspensão do sopro de ar ao remover tanto quanto possível de coque residual que permanece dentro do forno durante a suspensão do sopro de ar e se torna um obstáculo para a descarga da matéria solidificada. Neste método de operação de alto-forno, o sopro de ar é suspenso com a altura de uma superfície de uma camada cheia de matéria-prima imediatamente acima de uma ventaneira de alto-forno reduzida abaixo da altura de uma extremidade superior de uma rampa de alto-forno (blast-furnace bosh) e, então, o sopro de ar é retomado. Depois que a sopro de ar no alto-forno é suspenso, oxigênio ou oxigênio e um gás combustível são soprados através de um incinerador inserido em um furo de corrida para queimar o coque que permanece dentro do forno e reduzir o volume de resíduos dentro do forno, e depois que o novo coque é carregado para uma região onde o volume diminuiu, o ar é soprado através de uma ventaneira.
